The Workshop provides a program of informal scientific exchanges and discussions.  Each participant is required to make a 10-minute (15 for scene-setters) presentation and to attend the entire meeting to optimize communications.

Excursion: An afternoon guided tour of Alberobello (a UNESCO World Heritage Site). It is the capital of the trulli country, and the principal quarters of the old town, Monti and Aia Piccola, are entirely made up of trulli lining the uphill lanes. We will continue our tour to Grottoes of Castellana, one of the most important series of natural underground caves in Italy and Europe.

Conference Banquet: We will move to the city of POLIGNANO A MARE, one of the liveliest tourist resorts in Puglia and birthplace of the singer Domenico Modugno, famous for his world-renowned song "Volare". We will have dinner at Grotta Palazzese, a very exclusive restaurant built in a marine cave overlooking the ocean.
