The primary facilities of the Research Laboratory
of Electronics (RLE) at the Massachusetts Institute
of Technology (MIT) are located at the main MIT campus
in Cambridge, Massachusetts. RLE offices and laboratories
are located in the Sherman Fairchild Complex (MIT buildings
36 and 38) and the Karl Compton Laboratories (MIT building
26). RLE researchers also can be found in the Bush
Building (MIT building 13), MIT building 12, and the
MacLaurin Buildings (MIT building 3), as well as off-campus
at the Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary in Boston,
Massachusetts.
RLE Headquarters and the office of the Director are
located in MIT building 36. The main entrance to this
building is at 50 Vassar St., Cambridge, Massachusetts,
02139-4307.
The Laboratory does not conduct any regular organized
tours. If you have a particular interest in visiting
an RLE research group or principal investigator, you
may contact that group or investigator directly.
