Mary Markel Murphy has been at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) since 1991. She spent the first 10 years in MIT’s central human resources department; moved to the Department of Biology where she served as the Administrative Officer and was the Director of Human Resources for the Media Lab prior to joining the Research Laboratory of Electronics (RLE) in 2010. Since joining RLE, Mary has been awarded MIT’s Excellence Award and the MIT Infinite Mile Award.
Mary holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Wellesley College and a Master of Arts in human resources management from Emmanuel College.
