Orit Shamir joined RLE in October 2012 after completing both her masters and doctoral degrees as a graduate student in RLE. She manages a wide variety of the Laboratory’s academic and entrepreneurial projects, analyzes opportunities for resource development, explores methods to model and facilitate intra-organizational collaborations, and coordinates written communications and press releases. Orit is particularly focused on understanding the path from research-derived ideas and innovations to commercial products, and developing and implementing programs that encourage technology translation.
