This Advanced Television Workshop will address key issues in the co-evolution of television technology and content and broadband access networks as well as a number of important inter-related topics ranging from advanced components, such as displays and imagers, to advanced equipment and transmission, such as video processors, IPTV and PON/access.  Presentations will be from across the value chain from component and equipment manufacturers to service and content providers. Key questions the workshop will explore include the possible evolution paths of television hardware technology, bandwidth requirements for next-generation television services and content, and options for the next-generation of TV/broadband access architectures and systems.
