Meanfield dynamics and finite temperature effects in periodic and double
well potentials

The Dynamics of interacting matter waves in periodic and double well
potential is very reach. In the presentation I will focus on our
experimental results on localization phenomena such as Gap solitons and
self trapping due to repulsive atom-atom interaction. The effect of
finite temperature in double well potentials will be discussed in
detail. The application of a bosonic Josephson junction for ultra-low
temperature thermometery will be presented.
