Atomic Fermi-Bose mixture with tunable interaction

Tuning of the interspecies interaction in ultracold Fermi-Bose mixtures can give access to a variety of interesting phenomena, such as boson-induced superfluidity, formation of quantum gases of polar molecules or exotic quantum phases in optical lattices. I will report our progresses in the investigation of an ultracold K-Rb Fermi-Bose quantum gas, where the interspecies interaction can be tuned via Feshbach resonances.
