From fermions to bosons: strong interactions and universality in dilute gases
I discuss the BCS-BEC crossover from weakly bound Cooper pairs
to strongly bound bosonic molecules in the context of ultracold
Fermi gases near a Feshbach resonance. The thermodynamics
of the 3D problem and its universal nature near the unitarity limit
are outlined, together with an exact solution of the problem in
one dimension.
