Outreach: General Public

The CUA participates in events aimed at the general public. Our PIs give keynote speeches for all manner of events, engage in collaborations with museums in Boston and around the world, conduct media interviews on major results and what they mean in the context of Physics research, and more.

Scientific outreach through art: Markus Greiner collaborates on “Blue Sky with Rainbow”

Location:Art Gallery of Western Australia

Markus Griener collaborated on an outreach project through art with artist Julianne Swartz: “Blue Sky with Rainbow.” The installation is located at the Art Gallery of Western Australia, and is free to the public.

Prof Greiner built and installed the optical diffraction system for the installation.

Prof. Mikhail Lukin collaborated with educators at the Museum of Science (Boston) to develop “Dazzling Diamond…and the Quantum Revolution,” an exhibit and presentation based on recent CUA research on atom-like systems, currently underway.
