The CUA sponsors a variety of outreach activities including a summer school in atomic physics that is normally held in conjunction with the International Conference on Atomic Physics, a visitors program, co-sponsorship of workshops in collaboration with the nearby Theoretical Institute for Atomic and Molecular Physics (ITAMP) and Harvard Quantum Optics Center (HQOC), and outreach programs to local K-12 students.

Scientific outreach through art: Markus Greiner collaborates on “Blue Sky with Rainbow”

Location:Art Gallery of Western Australia

Markus Griener collaborated on an outreach project through art with artist Julianne Swartz: “Blue Sky with Rainbow.” The installation is located at the Art Gallery of Western Australia, and is free to the public.

Prof Greiner built and installed the optical diffraction system for the installation.
