All Hands Meeting

January 20, 2015 at 11:30 am - 8:00 PM/MIT Endicott House/ Dedham MA

Every student and postdoc supported by the center gave a five minute presentation on their current research.  This year, with the help of Carol Lynn Alpert and Karine Thate from the Museum of Science, we held a speaking challenge for the presenters.   Everyone in the audience was given the opportunity to judge each of the talks based on three criteria:

  1. Clarity of motivation & significance
  2. Speaking style & delivery
  3. Effectiveness of slides and graphics

Prizes were awarded at the dinner for the top three in each category and a grand prize for the Best Presentation Overall .
