MIT
RLE at MIT

Thank you all for making this event a great success!

The RLE's research portfolio spans a diverse set of intellectual topics. With over 60 active groups, the Lab is among the fastest growing and most diverse research organizations on campus. The broad spectrum of intellectual pursuits represents both a challenge and an opportunity to achieving our mission of interdisciplinary research.

The Fair is aimed at encouraging community building, increasing research group interconnectivity towards furthering our mission of nurturing a stimulating environment for innovative research. We will achieve this through a fun and spirited (of the alcohol type) event that features information about each and every research group. The Fair is designed to provide a holistic, lab-wide experience; to that end, we will showcase administrative services together with the research groups to help convey the message that excellence in research and administration is what makes the RLE a great organization.

The event is being planned and executed by graduate students and will consist of posters representing each and every research group. Each poster will address four questions:

  • Why? (What motivates the group's research?);
  • How? (Unique approaches and tools that the group uses);
  • What? (Examples of projects);
  • and Who? (Who are the members in the group?)
