The Médard group has recently won two best paper awards at the 2015 International Conference on Communications (ICC) in London. http://icc2015.ieee-icc.org/

The paper Optimization-Based Linear Network Coding for General Connections of Continuous Flows, by lead author Ying Cui, a postdoctoral fellow in Muriel Médard’s research group won the best paper award. The other authors include Ying Cui, Edmund Yeh, Douglas Leith and Ken Duffy. Ken Duffy will join the Médard research group later this year.

Another paper, Linear Network Coding and Parallel Transmission Increase Fault Tolerance and Optical Reach, by Admela Jukan and Xiaomin Chen, has also won the best paper award at the ICC Conference. Admela Jukan is currently a visiting scientist in the Médard research group.
