The Allen Fund is RLE’s primary mechanism for
fundraising for graduate student support and to assist
junior faculty. All resources raised will be placed
in perpetual MIT endowment. All income from the endowment
will be used to create graduate fellowships for MIT
students supervised by RLE faculty with the rank
of Assistant or Associate Professor. The Allen Fund,
thus, supports both students and junior faculty.
