Yong-Ak Song received the B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering of Aachen University of Technology, Aachen, Germany, in 1989. He received the M.S. degree in 1993, and his Ph.D. in 1996 of the same department and school. He was a senior research scientist at Korea Institute of Technology (KIST), Seou, Korea, from 1996-2001. Then he worked as a senior engineer at Fraunhofer USA, Center for Manufacturing Innovation, Brookline, MA from 2001-2003. He joined MIT as a research associate in Mechanical Engineering in 2003. In 2004 he changed to our group as a CSBi/Merck postdoctoral fellow.
