On the evening of August 1st, 2012, RLE Professor Seth Lloyd received the Quantum Communication Award for Theoretical Research at the Eleventh International Conference on Quantum Communication, Measurement, and Computing (QCMC 2012), which was held the week of July 30th in Vienna, Austria. His citation reads “for Seminal Contributions to the Theories of Quantum Communication, Metrology, Computation, and Control.”
