Michael Batista is a current undergraduate student in the M.I.T.
Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science and the M.I.T.
Department of Material Science Engineering with intended majors in 3-A and 6-1 as well as a minor in Philosophy, 24. Michael has been a part of the Quantum Nanostructures and Nanofabrication group since January 2009.
Michael was previously employed (and has accepted a second internship) by Harris Corporation’s Government Communications and Systems Division
(GCSD) in the Electro-Optics Division. His work there consisted of research in radio frequency acousto-optical modulation.
Currently, Michael is working on development of a low noise, high precision current source to be used for superconducting single photon detection (SSPD) arrays.
