Lorenzo Battistella is a visiting graduate student at the MIT. He received his Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from Polytechnic of Turin, Italy, in 2007. He is concluding his Master’s degree in Micro and Nano Technologies from Polytechnic of Turin(Italy), INPG Grenoble(France) and EPFL Lausanne(Switzerland).

His research in the Quantum Nanostructures and Nanofabrication Group is focused on templated self-assembly of quantum dots and on electron beam lithography resolution limit.
