Prof. Maria Csete is a visiting scientist in the Quantum Nanostructures and Nanofabrication group at MIT, and an Assistant Professor in the Dept. of Optics and Quantum Electronics at the University of Szeged, Hungary. Her current research interests include application of the sub-micrometer polymer-metal interfacial structures in bio-sensing based on combined Surface Plasmon Resonance spectroscopy and Atomic Force Microscopy. She has published 20 papers in international refereed journals, 34 conference proceedings, and 1 patent. She has a Ph.D. in Physics from Attila Jozsef University, Hungary.
