Eric A. Dauler is currently a graduate student in the
M.I.T. Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer
Science. He received both the S.B. and M.Eng. degrees
in electrical engineering from M.I.T. in 2003. Eric
is a member of Tau Beta Pi, Eta Kappa Nu and Sigma Xi.
While
a student at M.I.T., his research included work on the
frequency correlation of space-time entangled photons.
He also contributed to research on entangled photons
at the National Institute of Standards and Technology
(1996-2000) and the Boston University Photonics Center
(1998-2001).
Eric
is also an associate staff member at M.I.T. Lincoln
Laboratory (2003-present) working in the Optical Communications
Technology Group on developing single photon detector
technologies for high-sensitivity optical communications.
Support
for Eric’s graduate studies is being provided
by the Lincoln Doctoral Scholars Program.
