Mr. Harrer is currently a visiting graduate student in the M.I.T. Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science as well as a Ph.D. student in the Institute for Nanoelectronics at the Technical University of Munich, Germany . He received his bachelors degree in electrical engineering and information technology and his diploma in electrical engineering and information technology from the Technical University of Munich in 2003, and 2004 respectively. Mr. Harrer also studied Technology Management at the Center for Digital Technology and Management of the Ludwig-Maximilians Universität München, the Technical University of Munich and UC Berkeley and received his honors masters degree in technology management in 2003.

 

His research in the Quantum Nanostructures and Nanofabrication Group focuses on implementing new nanoimprint-lithography techniques.
