Mr. Kupec is currently a visiting graduate student in the M.I.T. Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science as well as a master student in the Institute for Nanoelectronics at the Technical University of Munich, Germany . He received his bachelors degree in electrical engineering and information technology from the University of Technology Munich. Mr. Kupec also studies Technology Management at the Center for Digital Technology and Management of the Ludwig-Maximilians Universität München and the University of Technology Munich, member of the Elite-network of Bavaria.

His research in the Quantum Nanostructures and Nanofabrication Group focuses on implementing new nanoimprint-lithography techniques.
