Vinay Ramasesh is an undergraduate student in the M.I.T. Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science and the M.I.T. Department of Physics, and a member of the Quantum Nanostructures and Nanofabrication group. He intends to earn degrees in course 6-1 and course 8 in 2012.

Prior to M.I.T., Vinay worked in Dr. Angela Wilson's computational chemistry laboratory group at the University of North Texas, on computational methods for calculating properties of large, organic molecules.

Currently, Vinay is working to design and build a low-cost spectral reflectometer.
