Mr.
Yang is currently a graduate student in the M.I.T. Department
of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science. He received
his bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from Nanyang
Technological University in Singapore.
His research focuses on developing nanofabrication technology
for superconductive nanowire single-photon detectors. These
detectors have a variety of potential applications, including
interplanetary-length-scale optical communications, and
VLSI circuit diagnostics.
