Eugen graduated from ETH Zurich, Switzerland with a B.S. degree in Information Technology and Electrical Engineering in 2007 and is currently pursuing M.S. at ETH. As a visiting student with the Physical Optics and Electronics Group in the Research Lab of Electronics, he is writing his Master's thesis about carrier injection modulators in CMOS photonics. His research interests include electromagnetic simulation and optical device design, with specific application to silicon photonics.
