With a background in Fine Arts and Early Childhood
Education, Catherine operated a family daycare
business from 1990 to 2001 while raising her family. She recently received her BS in Business Administration (May 2007) from Emmanual College. Currently, she is the administrative assistant for Professor Ram and the Physical Optics and Electronics Group, Professor Hu and
the Millimeter-wave and Terahertz Devices Group, and Dr. Wong and
the Optical and Quantum Communications Group as well as the Center for Integrated Photonic Systems.
Catherine is a member of the MIT Working Group for Support Staff Issues and the MIT Recycling Committee. In her leisure time, she enjoys gardening, cooking, exercising, and spending time with family and friends.
