Abstracts that focus on current work in areas of research
related to speech communication are welcomed as well as abstracts
that focus on the history of research in speech communication.
Contributors are encouraged to present their work in ways
that are accessible to scientists outside of their own disciplines.
Abstracts will be reviewed anonymously by a panel of reviewers
and will be accepted on the basis of their scientific merit
and clarity of presentation. Submitting an abstract implies
a commitment to present a poster if the abstract is accepted.
Posters may be no larger than 6.5 feet wide and 4 feet tall.
Please note that if an abstract is accepted,
the author(s) will be given the option of submitting a four-page
paper to be included on a CD-ROM that will be distributed
to conference participants. This submission is not mandatory.
The deadline for receipt of the final papers is April 2, 2004.
