Dongeek Shin received undergraduate degrees in Electrical Engineering and Mathematics, both with highest distinction, from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 2012. He entered the PhD program in EECS at MIT and joined the STIR group in the Fall of 2012. He is interested in developing convex optimization techniques for robust 3D computational imaging.
