Demba Ba

Demba graduated with honors with a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Maryland , College Park . Here at MIT, he investigated the use of integer-to-integer transform coding for non-Gaussian sources. He received his M.S. while working in the STIR group in spring 2006, and is ultimately working towards a Ph.D. Demba is also interested in information theory and multimedia signal processing theory and application.
