Simon Gustavsson received his M.S. in Engineering Physics from Chalmers University of Technology in 2004 and his Ph.D. in Physics from the Laboratory for Solid State Physics at ETH in Zurich in 2008.

Simon is a Principal Research Scientist in the Engineering Quantum Systems (link to http://equs.mit.edu )group at MIT. His interests include designing, analyzing and testing superconducting qubits and quantum-limited amplifiers, and using dynamical decoupling-techniques to improve quantum coherence in superconducting circuits.
