Zhumei Sun received the B.S. degree in the School of Optoelectronics, Beijing Institute of Technology, Beijing, China, in 2013. She received her M.S. degree in Optical Engineering at the Information Optics and Optoelectronic Technology Shanghai Institute of Optics and Fine Mechanics, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Shanghai, China in 2016. After that, she went to MIT and got her master in Mechanical Engineering in 2018 working in Velasquez-Garcia Group. She is currently a PhD candidate in the Mechanical Engineering at MIT and is working as a research assistant in the Micro/Nanofludic BioMEMS group at RLE. Her current work is nanofluidics for online monitoring.
