Muriel Médard, Cecil H. and Ida Green Professor of EECS from MIT invited to be first speaker of the IEEE Women in Engineering (WIE) affinity group of the Lille IEEE Student Branch in Northern France. Her lecture will be about universal decoding GRAND, her work with Ken Duffy and Rabia Tugce Yazicigil. Professor Médard kindly accepted to be the first speaker of the newly created WIE affinity group and will address students in Lille and online Wednesday, May 11, 10:30 AM for a conference titled “It’s all in the noise – universal decoding” !

The goal of Women In Engineering is to promote women engineers and scientists and inspire girls around the world to follow their academic interests to a career in engineering.

The conference will take place in the center of Lille, in Junia ISEN (Junia_ingénieurs), 41 Bvd Vauban, it will be followed with a live recording of our podcast regarding WIE.
