The first CINCS (Communications, Information, Network, Circuits and Signal processing) seminar series on Industry Research for Prof. Muriel Médard’s Network Coding & Reliable Communications Group is happening on Tuesday October 11th from 10:00AM-11:00AM in E25-401 (45 Carleton St.) with speaker Mallik Tatipamula.Title: Past, Present and Future of Wireless Networking
Dr. Mallik Tatipamula, CTO, Ericsson, Silicon Valley

CINCS Seminar with Mallik Tatipamula

Abstract:
This session begins with mobile networking evolution from 2G to 5G. It presents architectural and technology enablers of each cellular technology evolution. Then it will present technology evolution and research challenges at the intersection of “5G, edge computing and AI/ML” for realizing Industry 4.0. It will conclude with a discussion on research opportunities over next decade for 6G.
