Today at the IEEE International Symposium on Information Theory in Paris, France, Greg was presented the 2019 Leon K. Kirchmayer Graduate Teaching Award, a technical field award of the IEEE that recognizes inspirational teaching of graduate students in the IEEE fields of interest.  The award’s citation reads: “For leadership in the mentoring of research students and in the development of graduate curricula that incorporate cutting-edge research perspectives.”
