Bill Adams joined RLE in 2009 as the Windows Server and Systems Infrastructure Administrator. He is responsible for managing many IT related tasks. Most importantly he is responsible for ensuring that the research group and administrative systems RLE maintains continue to function. Bill also performs end user support work including, but not limited to, all desktops, laptops, Smartphones and tablets. He is responsible for managing all of RLE’s AV and video conferencing systems. He creates, maintains, RLE’s physical and virtual Windows, Linux and OS X servers. His specialties include data encryption, data recovery, and database management. Bill also provides additional support for the websites and social networking projects hosted within RLE.
