The Research Lab of Electronic is delighted to announce that MIT Institute and RLE Principal investigator, Professor Mildred S. Dresselhaus has been named by President Obama a recipient of the Enrico Fermi Award. One of the government’s oldest and most prestigious awards for scientific achievement; the presidential award cited Prof. Dresselhaus for her leadership in condensed matter physics, in energy and scientific policy, in service to the scientific community, and in mentoring women in the sciences.
